CitedMe Legal
Terms of Service
The core rules for using CitedMe, including account responsibilities, product use, and service limitations.
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of CitedMe websites, applications, APIs, and related services.
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally able to enter into these terms and use the service only for lawful business or professional purposes.
You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, maintaining accurate account information, and ensuring that invited users are authorized to access your workspace.
Acceptable Use
You may use CitedMe to analyze, monitor, and improve brand visibility, but you may not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, interfere with the platform, or attempt unauthorized access.
You remain responsible for the prompts, domains, competitor data, content, and operational decisions that you or your team submit to the platform.
- Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.
- Do not upload malware, harmful code, or unlawful content.
- Do not use the service to collect or expose data you are not authorized to process.
- Do not share credentials across unauthorized users or resell access without written approval.
Customer Content and AI Output
You retain ownership of the data and content you submit to CitedMe. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, analyze, and display that content for the purpose of operating the service.
CitedMe may generate AI-assisted summaries, charts, recommendations, and workflow outputs. Those outputs are provided to support decision-making, but they may contain inaccuracies and should be reviewed before you rely on them for legal, financial, or customer-facing commitments.
Billing and Plans
If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees and taxes described at the time of purchase or in your order form.
Unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise, subscriptions renew according to the selected billing cycle until canceled, and changes to plan scope may affect pricing on renewal or upgrade.
Availability and Product Changes
We work to keep the service available and improve it continuously, but specific features, third-party integrations, and AI-provider behavior may change over time.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the service when necessary for security, legal compliance, infrastructure changes, or product evolution.
Termination, Disclaimers, and Liability
You may stop using CitedMe at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if payment remains overdue, or if continued access would create security or legal risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, and CitedMe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the service.
